Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith
Theological Education
Institute (TEI)
Mission
- To educate the grassroots of the believing church in excellent biblical theology, also equipping many to become leaders in the culture;
- To honor the unalienable rights given by God to all people equally, with specific emphasis in advancing religious, political and economic liberty;
- To bring the Gospel into all sectors of society – government, education, media, business, science and the arts – in service to the family and church;
- To welcome the toughest questions of all skeptics with graciousness in demeanor and rigor in thinking; and accordingly
- To let the goodness of Jesus the Messiah become transparently evident, and so build the kingdom of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Vision
- We know that
opposition to the
Gospel is very deep
within elitist
culture; and thus
- The vision is to
see a culture come
to pass where the reputation of believers is known
– as with Moses, Daniel and Paul
– for being rooted in 1) love, 2)
a sound mind and 3)
the power of the
Holy Spirit. And
that these believers
are found in every
sector of society,
up to the most
important leadership
roles; and thus
- We have
need for biblically
and constitutionally
literate people to
run for and be
elected to public
office.
Statement of Faith:
- The classical orthodoxy of the Nicene Creed
is a faithful summary of biblical essentials to faith;
- This faith is rooted and defined in the
35 books of the
Hebrew Bible (Tenakh)
and 27 books of the
New Testament, which on their own exegetical terms equal the completely trustworthy, revealed and sufficient written Word of God; and
- The Protestant Reformation, in its classical evangelical identity, and in the goal of ecclesia reformata semper reformanda ("the church reformed and always reforming"),
strives to be a
fully hospitable context for biblical faith and true ecumenism.

Beyond the visions
outlined on this
website, there are
three more aimed
for in the
future::
- The TEI Bank is a vision for a very simple and trustworthy banking system, where along with TEI Burden Sharing, the commodity of trust will be the value sought and fulfilled.
- The TEI Undergraduate Center
has been a vision for a five-year bachelor of liberal arts degree rooted in biblical theology, where all graduates are equipped superbly to succeed in marriage, graduate studies in seminaries and/or the finest research universities, vocation and life.
But, this vision
may be happily
superceded with
the founding of
the C. S.
Lewis College,
a biblically
based Great
Books College
rooted in the
Oxford
University
tutorial model, in
Northfield, MA,
aiming to open in
the fall of 2013
(see
www.cslewis.org).
- The TEI Orchestra and Sacred Choir is a vision to bring God’s superb gift of music into a dying culture.
