If you read my blog posts on the subject (www.johnrankin.org, upper left corner), you will see my biblical concerns to oppose the burning of the Qur’an. As well, there will be articles uploaded as soon as possible:

If you agree and can make it to Gainesville Florida on September 11, 2010, beginning at 4:00 p.m., we want to flood the streets adjacent to and near the Dove World Outreach Center (5805 NW 37th Street).

Please bring a back pack each with ample food and water, and visit the restrooms ahead of time. Then create a placard with clear printing of nine words for display: THE BIBLE IS AGAINST THE BURNING OF THE QUR’AN. These words are also designed to be easily translated into Arabic, where our purpose is clear. If Pastor Terry Jones does follow through with the burning of the Qur’an, the sight of thousands of biblically rooted Christians with these signs can mitigate the evil consequences, and powerfully invite Muslim peoples to see and consider true nature of the Gospel, and its foundational contribution to a just and equal social order.
