"The
Gospel celebrates
a level playing
field for all
ideas."

- If you agree with this
affirmation
and wish to
become a member of
the Mars Hill
Society (MHS), drop us an email with your contact information.
- Membership
will intersect
with a new
radio
show called
The
Mars Hill
Society,
starting February
12,
2012,
Sunday from 9-10
p.m., on WDRC
radio in
Hartford, 1360
A.M. Here, with
co-host Steve
Knowles, we will
host lead
skeptics of the
Gospel and/or
our pro-life
libertarian
politics, with
an open-ended
conversation per
the Mars Hill
Forum series.
And in time I
will set forth
maybe a dozen
leverage points
for the Gospel
to transform the
United States,
and all nations.
Steve, a good
friend, is a
former sales
executive with
CBS television
in New York
City. He also
has experience
in syndication,
which we will
pursue, and has
hosted his own
radio show,
Church & State.
Our new show
will be recorded with live
audiences in the
broadest range
of locales,
giving
invitation for MHS members to
participate
along with
skeptics
– on
college
campuses, at
state capitols,
the U.S.
Capitol,
churches
etc.
In the
process we will
seek to build
the MHS with
people who like
to do critical
thinking
together in
pursuit of the
truth. Further
details will
come as the date
draws nearer.
- One strategic
place to advance
the MHS
affirmation is
also found at
www.prepartisan.us,
a topic that
will be
discussed on the
radio show as
well..
- The MHS affirmation is by
definition
radical ("root
level"). It
stands in the face of the
status quo of
self-serving elitism found in every
social institution – family,
church,
government,
military, education, media,
business, science,
medicine and the
arts.
- The Gospel, from
the goodness of
creation to the
good news of the
Messiah, is
hospitable to
tough questions.
The Gospel
provides such
freedom in an
honest civil
society, and the
Gospel is thus
able to leverage
blessings for all
nations.
